Ode to My Daughters

Updated: Mar 25

πŸ‘‰ I remember it like it was yesterday. For the first time I was going to be a dad. This being was going to turn our lives upside down to a level we hadn't anticipated.

πŸ‘‰ She was born with an overwhelming energy, a thirst for life.

πŸ‘‰ Throughout her childhood and adolescence, she marked us with her energy, her will, her strength, her struggles.

πŸ‘‰ A few years later, her sister was born. Her temperament was so different, yet she had the same strength, the same thirst for life.

πŸ‘‰ Today, both of them have become fulfilled adults. They have opened my eyes to the struggles they had to fight as human beings but also as women.

πŸ‘‰ They have helped me to better understand and feel the world seen and experienced by women.

πŸ‘‰ Thank you to both of them and to all the women who have helped me to become a man.

πŸ‘‰ Let's work to create an inclusive world where everyone is respected and appreciated for who they are, and where no one has to be a victim of who they are!

πŸ‘‰ And you, what have you done today to make the world a fairer place for your daughters, for women, for all humans!
